Not quite Black Magic

I find that this version isn't as good as the original Black Magic - the formula doesn't seem to coat my lashes as well (not volumising) and it's harder to build it up. Positives: it doesn't smudge and long lasting. I probably wouldn't repurchase this and would go back to using the original one.

This is the first brown mascara I've tried and it really compliments a soft brown eyeshadow look, I absolutely love it! It's my new everyday mascara as it looks so natural, providing great length and definition!

Love having a brown option!

Love this mascara! The brown option is a welcomed alternative, especially for redheads and blondes. I love this wand which is east to use and gets to all the lashes. This is long wearing mascara two. I've combined it with the Cocoa Edit eyeliner pencil.

Applied well. Shortly after my eyelashes were straight! Never had this problem before. Used curler again. Marginally better, but now mascara on the curler! Grrr  Within an hour the ends of my eyelashes were bare of mascara and I was a brown eyed panda.  So unimpressed. Threw it in the bin.

Absolutely gorgeous shade of brown!

I have oily skin and oily eyelids and struggled for years to find a mascara I could put on in the morning and not have to keep checking throughout the day to see if it had smudged (ie the dreaded ‘panda eyes’).  A couple of years ago I came across Eyeko and decided to give their mascaras a try.  And from the very first day I tried them I have never used anything else.  I can put my mascara on first thing in the morning and it won’t budge until I take it off ! As far as I was concerned, the only thing Eyeko could do to improve this was to add a brown shade - and here it is !  A perfect brown in the perfect formula, in the perfect tube - just PERFERCT !!

Love this mascara! It's a beautiful warm brown colour that is really flattering with my blue eyes (although would look nice with all colours) and makes my lashes look more natural and soft than harsh black. The mascara itself gives great length and volume. If you are not convinced to move away from black mascara completely, I plan on wearing this on my bottom lashes only (black on top) when I go out as it looks much more natural!

Beautiful mascara!

Huge fan of this mascara! I love the original Black Magic anyway, so I knew I'd like the brown version. The brush is amazing for catching all of your lashes and adding curl to them. The warm brown shade is really subtle but still adds definition to my lashes, and it works really nicely with my brown eyes too. Perfect for every day wear!
